The Nintendo 64 was the first console I ever owned, I sunk hundreds of hours of my teenage years into that brilliant little machine, and I loved it. Modern video-games don't have the alure that those solid cartridges and worn analog sticks do for me, but even with the gloss of nostalgia warping my opinion of the N64, its games have not held up well over the years. With the power of the 64Drive to take me there in the original low-res, sub-par framerate style, and a stack of trusty N64 Magazines as my historical guide, I shall travel back to the '90s and replay the Nintendo 64 from the beginning. I will chronicle my adventures here for all to see.

The beast was the color of ash - as from a fire long dead. It regarded the people with its lone, burning red eye, and it showed them visions of worlds beyond anything they had ever seen. In 3D. The people wept. -- Book One of the Sixty Four.
