This is documentation/map/key/guide for the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Beta Quest.

=Start=
You will always start at Hyrule Field. Exiting the map will either crash the game or bring you to another random map (or end beta mode). Exiting that map will either crash the game or bring you to another random map (or end beta mode). That just keeps on going on and on until all the paths for that specific quest have ended beta quest or crashed. You will start with your ocarina, a bow, and bombs. You cannot go to the start menu.

For convenience, I will name the Hyrule Map exits as such:
*To Hyrule Castle Town: TOWN.
*To Kakariko Village: VILLAGE.
*To Zora's Domain (Entrance through River): Zora's River (Entrance through River).
*To Zora's Domain (Entrance through Land): Zora's River (Entrance through land).
*To Kokiri Forest: FOREST.
*To Lake Hylia: LAKE.
*To Gerudo Valley: VALLEY.
*To Lon Lon Ranch: RANCH.

=World 1=
You will start out facing Hyrule Castle Town, and the scene will be very dark. The drawbridge is up, so you will have to use a levitate cheat to get to that exit (or be ''extremely'' good at [[Ocarina of Time:Miscellaneous Glitches Bombchu Hover|this]] glitch).

==TOWN - Crash==
Attempting to go into town will just result in a crash. Time to reset!

==VILLAGE - Kakariko Village on fire==
You enter the village as normal except it's on fire. This looks like cutscene data before you learn "Nocturne of Shadow". Some interesting things to note is that behind where you enter, you can see Sheik just standing there; your map is black; you can still hear cucco's in the background; shop signs are gone; the grotto near the potion shop is gone; and there is nobody to be found. Just to note, the flames do hurt you.

Since you are in the village, you have several exits and things you can do.

===Village Exit - Hyrule Field===
You will end up back in Hyrule Field. End of Beta.

===Door in front of tree - Windmill (Or known as ?)===
You end up in the Windmill. End of Beta.

===Well Entrance - House in Back Alley===
You end up in the dog lady's house in the back alley. End of Beta.

===Death Mountain Trail - Death Mountain Trail===
You end up on the trail like normal. End of Beta.

===Bazaar - Shadow Temple===
You end up in the room before the boss. You are also facing away from the boss door. End of Beta.

===Medicine Shop - Inside the Deku Tree===
You end up in the entrance of the Deku Tree. End of Beta.

===Shooting Gallery - Crash===
Nothing to see. Reset.

===Entrance above Cucco Pen - Crash===
Nothing to see. Reset.

===Skulltula House - Crash===
Nothing to see. Reset.

===House with cow - House in front of tree===
You end up inside of the house that is in front of the big tree in Kakariko Village. End of Beta.

===Potion Shop - House in Back Alley===
You end up in a guy's house in the Back Alley. End of Beta.

===Back Entrance to Medicine Shop - Crash===
Nothing to see. Reset.

===Windmill - Potion Shop===
You end up in a potion shop in Hyrule Market. End of Beta.

===Graveyard - Graveyard===
You end up in the Graveyard like normal. End of Beta.

===Warp Songs - Correct Locations===
All Warp songs lead to their correct areas. End of Beta.

==Zora's River (Entrance through River) - Crash==
Nothing to see. Reset.

==Zora's River (Entrance through Land) - Zora's Fountain==
Some things to note is that for starters, your HUD is missing. Jabu seems to be a bit moved back behind of an invisible object. Princess Ruto is standing on the big rock. All enemies/other objects seem to be missing.

===Zora's Domain - Goddess Cutscene===
Well there isn't too much you can do here so let's just reset.

===Inside Jabu Jabu's Belly - Miniboss room of Jabu Jabu's Belly===
The miniboss has already been defeated and you are out of Beta Quest.

===Fairy's Fountain - Crash===
Nothing to see. Reset.

===Ice Cavern - Iron Boots Room===
Luckily you are still in beta. However the room behind you and ahead of you (Need iron boots) will have their rooms unloaded.

==FOREST - Goddess Cutscene==
You are stuck in another goddess cutscene. Unless you have a cutscene activator cheat you'll have to reset.

==RANCH - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==VALLEY - Goddess Cutscene==
Yet another goddess cutscene. Interestingly enough, Gerudo Valley text comes up on the screen. You'll soon get your HUD back but can't do a thing. If you go to your map it'll say you are in Kakariko Village.

==LAKE - Forest Temple==
You end up in the Forest Temple facing away from the boss door. When you enter this from Lake Hylia you'll also see a Triforce fadeout? Anyways you are still in beta and the only way to go is into the boss chamber.

===Forest Temple Boss Room - Water Temple===
You'll end up in the Water Temple. You have two choices, go onto the boss chamber or leave.

====Exit Water Temple - Zora's Fountain====

====Water Temple Boss Room - Inside Ganon's Castle====
You'll end up in the staircase room inside the barrier. You have two options, go forward or turn back. Also, dieing will cause the game to crash.

====Ganon's Castle Boss Room - Water Temple====

====Inside Ganon's Castle - Inside Ganon's Castle====
You'll start outside the "Forest" room.

====Ganon's Castle - Outside Hyrule Castle crawlspace====
You end up where the crawlspace is to enter the castle. You have three options, go in through the crawlspace via levitation, leave the castle, or levitate into the fairy fountain. Getting caught will freeze the game. It is also night time.

====Crawlspace - Crash====
Nothing to see. Reset.

====Fairy's Fountain - Crash====
Nothing to see. Reset.

====Hyrule Market - Hyrule Market====
You'll end up in Hyrule Market outside of Temple of Time grove entrance. You have alot of options.

=====Temple of Time Grove - Fire Temple=====
You end up facing away from the boss door. Darunia is in front of you and you have a conversation with him. You have two options, leave the temple of go into the boss chamber.

======Fire Temple Boss Room - Crash======
Nothing to see. Reset.

======Exit Fire Temple - Forest Temple======

=====Potion Shop - Back Alley=====
You are still in beta. You have four options, go through the door behind you, to the right of Link forward or backward into the alley way. (Note: To get into the "Strange door that doesn't open", levitate over it.)

======Door behind Link - Farm house in Kakariko Village======
You'll end up in this house, exiting will result in a crash.

======Door to the right of Link - Bazaar======
You'll end up in here, exit to end up back in the Hyrule Market.

======Backway of Alley======
You have two options back here, go through another strange door that approaches on the left or leave the alley.

======Leaving the Alley after Wounded Soldier- Crash======
Nothing to see here. Reset.

======Strange door on left side after Wounded Soldier - Ganondorf cutscene======
You end up watching the cutscene before you have to get out of the crumbling castle.
After following Zelda to where she opens the first door, going through will make you end up back in Hyrule Field where you started Beta Quest. Oddly enough, the music is still playing from the crumbling Ganon's Castle. All Exits lead to the ones documented above.

======Leaving the Alley after Old Man - Hyrule Market======
Right where you entered. See [[#Hyrule Market - Hyrule Market]]

=====Bazaar - Happy Mask Shop=====
You end up in the Happy Mask Shop, leaving takes you back to Hyrule Market.

=====Happy Mask Shop - Inside Ganon's Castle=====
You only have the option to leave Ganon's Castle. Leave and you end up back near Hyrule Castle.

=====Hyrule Castle - Ganon's Castle=====
This will lead you to Ganon's Castle (Outside). Oddly enough, normal nighttime sounds seems to be playing rather than the future sounds in this area. You also get your HUD back. Going into Ganon's Castle takes you to the first room inside the barrier oddly enough. The other exits lead to their right areas. End of Beta.

=====Shooting Gallery - Temple of Time Grove=====
You end up in the Temple of Time grove. Leaving takes you back into Hyrule Market.
Oddly enough, if you go to the Temple of Time, you can see the ring of fire around Death Mountain even though it's daytime and not the future.

=====Temple of Time - Temple of Time=====
You actually end up in here but end up in the Master Sword area as if you pulled the sword. There is a wall blocking the way to get out. Going back after seeing the wall, you will see the blue light as if you pulled the sword over and over again. You cannot put the sword back in either, so you have to levitate over the fakewall. Also to note, the area won't be loaded. Regardless, it's end of Beta.

=====Back Alley - Hyrule Market=====

=====Bombchu Playground - Crash=====
Nothing to see here. Reset.

=====Treasure Chest Store - Back Alley coming from Strange Door=====
You have to levitate to get into here. After you do, see [[#Backway of Alley]]

=====Alleyway Entrance by Treasure Chest Store - Hyrule Market=====
You'll just end up back in Hyrule Market. See [[#Hyrule Market - Hyrule Market]]

=====Leaving Hyrule Market - Shadow Temple=====
Finally somewhere interesting. You end up at the entrance and you have two options, leave or attempt to go to the boss room somehow.

======Leaving Shadow Temple - Goddess Cutscene======
Oh boy I haven't missed this. You can't do anything, so just reset.

======Shadow Temple Boss Room - Water Temple Boss Room======
Well. Now you are in the Water Temple Boss room. You don't have the hookshot equipped and you can't access your inventory unless you do some sort of C-Button replacement gameshark cheat. So this is pretty much it.

==Warp Songs==

===Minuet of Forest - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===Bolero of Fire - Hyrule Castle===
You will appear inside a milk crate near the sleeping Talon at Hyrule Castle. Be careful not to get caught by a guard, if you do the game crashes. End of Beta.

===Serenade of Water - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===Nocturne of Shadow - Inside Ganon's Castle===
You end up on a bridge near the exit when the castle is being destroyed.
Either going backwards or forward will kick you out of beta. Same with warp songs.

===Requiem of Spirit - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===Prelude of Light - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

=World 2=
Things this time are slightly different. You are still in Hyrule Field, hear Epona, but the weather is different and very darker than the last.

==TOWN - Potion Shop==
You get a odd fadeout when getting into here, but you end up in the Potion shop pretty much.
You have two options, leave through the back or the front door.

===Back entrance in Potion Shop - Windmill===
You'll end up in the Windmill. Not much to do as leaving will crash the game.

===Front entrance in Potion Shop - Dampe's Grave===
You end up in Dampe's Grave. Either race him to get to the Windmill exit, or exit via teleport behind you.
Also note that if you race him, you'll always get a time of "00'00" and you'll receive a heart piece from him.
Use the Song of Time to remove those blocks and go on.

====Exit from Windmill - Crash====
Just like above, it'll crash again.

====Exit from Teleport - Crash====
Another crash. Time to reset.

==VILLAGE - Kakariko Village==
This time it isn't on fire. Sheik is in the same area again. This time, cucco's can be found. The exits are exactly the same as Quest #1's.

==Zora's River (River Entrance) - Crash==
Same crash again. Let's try Land entrance this time.

==Zora's River (Land Entrance) - Zora's Fountain/B==
You end up in Zora's Fountain again but it is night time this time. Also to note, there is an Ocarina Pad in front of you. Be careful in this area, it seems to freeze at random making it hard to move around. Also collision on some walls seems to be gone. I've heard it crashes because of "Two" Jabu's supposedly. As soon as I find a way to exit I'll update this area.

==FOREST - Deku Tree Cutscene==
Except you can move around. The cutscene music is still playing. No one is around either. You have alot of options again.

===Great Deku Tree - Dodongo's Cavern===
You are stuck and can't move at all oddly enough. Reset.

===Kokiri Shop - Dodongo's Cavern===
You are facing away from the boss door again. This time you aren't frozen though.

====Dodongo's Cavern Boss Room - Great Deku Tree Boss Room====
Eh. Those two love to swap each other's entrances and stuff :\
Anyways you can only defeat the boss here pretty much. Which is impossible as none of your items or attacks work. So reset.

====Exit Dodongo's Cave - Death Mountain Crater====
You end up out of collision but luckily are on something so you won't fall.
The Warp pad was moved near the ladder for reasons I don't know why. (Previous location before they moved it?), there is also some fire temple blocks near it too. (I don't remember if that was in the original game.)
Oddly enough, Navi doesn't bug you that it's too hot.
Anyways, once you find your way back into collision you have some options.

=====Fire Temple - Forest Temple=====
Why was I not surprised? You end up in the Forest Temple. Exit or go on to the Boss room. Good luck getting to the boss room, you'd have to find the four poes which I don't have time to do.

======Exit Forest Temple - Cutscene======
I have no idea when this cutscene happens. (End of game?) But you and your camera is stuck looking at the Lake Hylia warp pad. Reset.

=====Exit Death Mountain Crater to Outside - Cutscene=====
Same music was the one above but this time there is no picture, it's just black. Time to reset.

=====Exit Death Mountain Crater to Goron City -  Research Lab at Lake Hylia=====
You end up at this crazy guy's lab. You can only exit the lab but that leads to a crash.

=====Exit Death Mountain Crater to Fairy Fountain - Fairy Fountain=====
This actually leads to it's correct area. Leave and you'll crash.

===First House on Left - Endless Loop===
If you choose to go into this house, the screen will partially fade out to white and have Link continuously running. Reset.

===Second House on Left - Great Deku Tree===
You end up in the Great Deku Tree at the entrance. Leave and it'll crash.

===Link's House - Hyrule Market===
You end up near the drawbridge in Hyrule Market. It is also night time and in the past. You can't leave either. So either go into the poe shop or onto Hyrule Market.

====Hyrule Market - Crash====
Nothing to see here. Reset.

====Poe Shop - Spirit Temple====
Interesting change of scene. You are still in beta. Either continue on to the boss chamber or leave. Also to note, you'd need to use a gameshark cheat to equip the gauntlet's to move the big block. And you have to go through alot to get to the boss chamber.

=====Exit Spirit Temple - Crash=====
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===Know it all House - Hyrule Field===
Back in Hyrule Field. Although there is a change of scenery. It is bright out but raining and it gets gradually dark fast. See [[#World 2]]

===House near rock picking Kokiri - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===Lost Woods - Desert Colossus===
There is no music playing, must be from a cutscene. No objects in the area at all. Gauntlet's chest is revealed but Mirror shield chest isn't. You have many options at this point.

====Gauntlet Chest - Desert Colossus====
You hear a scream and you are back to where you were after you entered Lost Woods. Except this time you can see your HUD again. End of Beta.

====Fairy Fountain - Bottom of the Well====
You can't really do anything to here. Leave and you'll crash.

====Haunted Wasteland - Crash====
Nothing to see here. Reset.

====Spirit Temple Main Entrance - Spirit Temple====
You actually end up in the Spirit Temple like normal. Seems to be the same as [[#Poe Shop - Spirit Temple]]

====Spirit Temple Gauntlet Entrance - Bottom of the Well====
Same as [[#Fairy Fountain - Bottom of the Well]].

====Spirit Temple Mirror Shield Entrance - Crash====
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===Hyrule Field - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==RANCH - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==VALLEY - Goddess Cutscene==
You see some random rocks out of collision. You can also see flying rocks above your camera. You have your HUD back but can't move like usual.

==LAKE - Bottom of the Well==
Note the fadeout after you enter Lake Hylia. Anyways you end up in the Bottom of the Well. Leave and you crash so reset.

==Warp Songs==
See World 1 Warp Songs. They are the same.

=World 3=
It's the same gloomy weather as usual except this time you can't hear Epona's neigh and the drawbridge is down this time. Let's explore.

==TOWN - Potion Shop==
See World 2 TOWN - Potion Shop

==VILLAGE - Kakariko Village==
Dark gloomy village and you HUD is back. Some interesting things to notice is the random door where the shooting gallery is, and no cucco's. All exits are the same as World 2.

==Zora's River (River Entrance) - Dodongo's Cavern==

==Zora's River (Land Entrance) - Zora's Fountain==
It is dawn out and you are facing Jabu Jabu. This time there is no Ocarina pad. Still freezes up alot like World 2. Until I find a way, I'll update this section later.

==FOREST - Great Deku Tree Cutscene==
Unlike World 2, this time you aren't beamed down. Exits are the same as World 2. Although there is a minor change in scenery in some exits.

==RANCH - Potion Shop==
Finally the ranch doesn't crash. However it's the same as World 3 Town - Potion Shop.

==VALLEY - Gerudo Valley==
Finally Gerudo Valley works properly! Music is ending credit music? Anyways, you start in front of the log board next to the mini-waterfall. Some things to notice is that your HUD is back. The bridge is gone and the carpenters tent is gone. Kaepora Gaebora is in air in where the bridge would be. Be careful when walking around, some parts of this area you'll fall through. End of Beta.

==LAKE - The Great Deku Tree==
This is where you appear... but out of collision way above a water related room. You can't really do much in here so reset.

==Warp Songs==
===Minuet of the Forest - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===Bolero of Fire - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===Serenade of Water - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===Nocturne of Shadow - Inside Ganon's Castle===
Same as World 1 Nocturne of Shadow - Inside Ganon's Castle. This time there is no music though.

===Requiem of the Spirit - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

=World 4=
Well doesn't this seem familiar? It's the title sequence. Be careful not to press A or B or else the title screen will come up and you'll go into game. For some reason, this world has alot of random objects in random places.

==Save File #2 - Forest Temple==
If you decide to go into the load game menu you'll notice File 2 exists and is named "あああああゃゃゃ" or known as "aaaaayayaya".
Going into this file will take you into the Forest Temple as Young Link with only two deaths on the file and no items except deku sticks and deku nuts. He also has two small keys and 15 rupees and three heart pieces. You also have all equipment items as well. Anyways, end of beta.

==Save File #1 - Link's House==
Making a new File #1 will make you end up in Link's House. This skips the whole beginning cutscene completely. You have all the equipment items but nothing else. End of beta.

==Save File #3 - Link's House==
Same as Save File #1.

==TOWN - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==VILLAGE - Kakariko Village==
Same story pretty much. This time it's day time and you hear Mountain Crater music. Probably the cutscene after you beat the Fire Temple. Also, there are random people and random rings of bushes and rocks in areas. I'm not gonna spend alot of time on this section, most exits seem to be the same.

===Shooting Gallery - Dodongo's Cavern===
This time you can actually move. But it's end of beta anyways.

==Zora's River (Water Entrance) - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==Zora's River (Land Entrance) - Great Deku Tree Cutscene==
You end up here except you are on top of a hill by the Deku Tree. Exits are the same as World 2. Some interesting things to notice is that people are here this time, and the excess amount of random signs. Some of those signs are from other parts of the game like the Desert notice sign.

==FOREST - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==RANCH - Lon Lon Ranch==
This actually works this time, and you get the see the ending game party. It's a shame you are invisible and are frozen. Anyways, end of beta.

==VALLEY - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==LAKE - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==Warp Songs==
All Warp Songs crash except Nocturne of Shadow which takes you to Inside Ganon's Castle.

=World 5=
It is nighttime with clear weather. You start in front of the drawbridge which is down. Again with World 4, objects are in some weird/different places like trees and bushes.

==TOWN - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==VILLAGE - Kakariko Village==
A different cutscene per world I suppose? Anyways, this looks like the ending credits cutscene. Exits are pretty much the same as the other worlds.

==Zora's River (Water Entrance) - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==Zora's River (Land Entrance) - Kokiri Forest==
You end up in Kokiri forest out of bounds. You see random signs and you are out of collision. Also when you enter you'll notice a heart piece briefly above Link's head. Be careful around the invisible collision as it is dark and you may fall. After you get out of the out of bounds you'll notice another heart piece above link's head which is again brief. Every time you cross that line it'll have a heart piece above his head for unknown reasons. The Deku tree's mouth is open this time but there is a piece of "the void" between his mouth and the ground so be careful.

===The Great Deku Tree - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===First house on the left - House in Alleyway===
You end up in an house in the alleyway. Exit and you crash.

===Second house on the left - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===Link's House - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===Know it all House - Hyrule Field===
Back to where you started in this world.

===Kokiri Forest Exit to Hyrule Field - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===House near rock picking Kokiri - Ganondorf cutscene===
The cutscene where Ganondorf was defeated right before the castle starts to fall apart. Fall and you'll be back but the music will be gone. Go through the door Zelda opened and the game will crash.

===Lost Woods - Crash===
Nothing to see here. Reset.

===Kokiri Shop - Know it all House===
You end up in their house. Leave and the game will crash.

==FOREST - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset. Although you can see the Warp fadeout between Goron City and Lost Woods show up.

==RANCH - Lon Lon Ranch==
Same as the previous world except this time you are facing a different angle away from the party. Reset.

==VALLEY - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==LAKE - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==Warp Songs==
Warp songs are the same as previous worlds except the following songs.

===Nocturne of Shadow - Thieves Hideout===
Well finally somewhere different with this song. You end up in the thieves hideout entrance to the last carpenter. Although it is end of beta.

===Prelude of Light - Death Mountain Trail Grotto===
This grotto can be found on Death Mountain Trail. It is pretty much a cow pit with some rupees and hearts.

====Exiting the grotto - Temple of Time====
You end up in the master sword pedestal room. This is the cutscene following the return after seven years. Your camera is in a bird's eye angle for a while but then fixes. Also, note the usual red text is white for some reason. After the cutscene with Sheik, Link enters the pedestal room and the cutscene where Link and Navi see the Master Sword for the first time plays. However, the Master Sword isn't there but Sheik is instead. Note that you cannot leave this room because of the "wall" blocking you. So levitate over and leave. Although it doesn't matter as this is end of beta.

=World 6=
You can't really do anything as you are stuck. So try another world.

=World 7=
This world really is pretty much World 5 duplicated. However, only two exits are different from World 5.

==TOWN - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==VILLAGE - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==FOREST - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==VALLEY - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==LAKE - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==RANCH - Lon Lon Ranch==
You get to see the party yet again. This time Link is facing in another direction and you are invisible and can't move. Reset.

==Zora's River (Water Entrance) - Crash==
Nothing to see here. Reset.

==Zora's River (Land Entrance) - Kokiri Forest==
You end up in a cutscene with your camera facing the Deku Sprout at a certain angle. Music is ending credits music. Since you can't move, reset.

==Warp Songs==
Warp Songs are exactly the same as World 6.

=World 8=
Looks like the ending credits cutscene. You are in Hyrule Field daytime. There is some fog passing by near you. Some things to notice is that you cannot hear Link at all, the drawbridge is completely missing, and there is no objects at all. Although if you pull out your ocarina and then exit that you can hear Link and other sounds again.

==TOWN - Crash==

You end up in a grave with a chest that has 20 rupees and a bombable wall leading to a fairy fountain.
Leaving will take you to Haunted Wasteland.

===Grotto Exit - Haunted Wasteland===
You start near the two flag poles next to each other. You can either go on or turn back. Leaving will crash the game though.

==Warp Songs==
They are the same as World 5.

=World 9=
This is the final world. You appear in Hyrule Field at normal night time. Music will resume if daytime comes along.

Nothing to see here. Reset.

==VILLAGE - Crash==
Nothing to see here.

You are beamed down as if you finished the Forest Temple. The Deku Sprout is also there this time. All the exits are different this time though.
