Were the Japanese ROM compile dates taken from Japanese carts or (J) ROMS? I wouldn't trust the ROMs to actually be dumps of Japanese carts, as you can just flip a bit in the US ROM to change the language. Zcwikiadmin (talk) 16:31, 19 July 2015 (EDT)

Ah but how do we know that either of those got the dates from real carts? :P I'm suspicious of the U and J versions sharing the exact same time down to the second, possible of course if they were compiled at the same time by a script. Looks like they are the same, the Japanese cart I ended up with is the exact same compile date-time as NTSC-U 1.2. Zcwikiadmin (talk) 03:17, 5 August 2015 (EDT)
