Instructions

1. Start and play a new game until you reach Clock Town as Deku Link.
2. Go to one of the guards and stand directly in front of him.
3. Start running into the guard, and while you are doing so, pull up the left side of the cartridge, push A, and then push the cartridge back in.

Result

If done correctly the game will not crash, and the guard will say what he normally does except that there will be a picture of the All Night mask in the left side of his text box. Once he has finished speaking, he will be frozen in place, and you'll now be able to walk straight past him out into Termina Field.

Notes

Alternately, you can sidestep between the guard and the wall by using the same method used to go between the boulder and wall in the Bowless Link trick.
