Instructions

1. Perform the first (Adult Link) part of Bottle Adventure.
2. Go back in time and make sure you have exactly 14 Deku Nuts then equip a Bottled Fish to C-right and go forward in time. (You can use the amount of something other than Deku Nuts if you know how).
3. You'll now have the Boomerang on B. Stand in front of the Master Sword pedestal so that the A button says "Drop".
4. Turn 90 degrees either way and then throw the Boomerang. Press A to drop the Master Sword; do this before the Boomerang returns.

Result

Link will slam the Master Sword into the ground on the side of the pedestal he was facing. As he plunges it down, the sword will teleport into the pedestal while Link continues to face the wrong way.
