Requirements

  • An early print run of the English-language version of the game.
    • For some unknown reason, the USA 3DS Virtual Console release of the game can also be used.

Instructions

Just complete a linked game in OoAs up to the point where you fight Twinrova.

Result

While she is talking, before you fight her she'll call Onox "Knox".

Notes

Later print runs of Oracle of Ages fix this blunder; interestingly enough, it ended up reappearing in the USA 3DS Virtual Console release of the game. It should also be noted that, while the sequence affected by the blunder also appears in Oracle of Seasons, the blunder itself does not appear in that game. At least part of the reasoning the Ages script had this blunder in the first place may be due to the fact that Onox is the native villain to Seasons, and as such, his name doesn't appear in the script for Ages as often as in the script for Seasons, allowing for a greater chance for a misspelling to be missed in the Ages script.
