A Silent Realm isn't much of an area, it's more like a time period rather than a place. A Silent Realm coat certain places in Skyward Sword with Twilight. In a Silent Realm, there are no humans, but unlike the Twilights in Twilight Princess, there aren't even spirits of humans around. It's only Link. When entering any Silent Realm throughout the game, you must leave Fi behind, outside the Silent Realm in the real world because she claims that it is not safe for her to enter a Silent Realm. As soon as you leave the Silent Realm, you will reunite with Fi. In order to enter each and every Silent Realm the game has to offer, you must first unlock its portal, which is used as its only entrance, by playing a certain different tune on your Goddess Harp every time.
