Revision as of 17:51, 27 March 2011
This is a page that will eventually, and hopefully, be a good starting place for new users who don't know what to help with, as well as a good gathering place to organize needed glitches and other things needing to be done with the wiki.
Feel free to add anything to this page that needs to be done on the wiki.
Fix up this page
I know this is sort of ironic, but this page (the projects page) is rather messy, and needs to be completely redone in a less messy fashion. Talk about a redesign on the talk page.
Glitches that need to be added
Glitches here can be worked on until they're ready to be posted on their own page. These glitches should always either have videos or off-site instructions/guides; otherwise, it's more difficult for anybody to write/edit them.
Because of the large videos, try to leave at leave some space between glitches, so that the videos line up correctly.
A Link to the Past
Palace of the Four Sword bug
Anyone able to figure out how this weird glitch works?
Lanmolas glitch
Probably has something to do with the Hurricane Spin. But I don't quite know how to do this.
Majora's Mask
Secret Shrine Bug
Very rarely there is a glitch where the poe collector does not show up after the four battles. Can anyone confirm this? Source: [[1]]
Ocarina of Time
http://www.youtube.com/user/MrGrunz
This guy has a lot of really cool glitches, most of which have yet to be put on this wiki.
Door of Time Skip
(Tips, More Tips) (I should also try to figure out if there's any way to get back through door as adult link)

Requirements
- A sword
- A bottle (optional)
- You can not have opened the door of time yet.
Instructions
In the Temple of Time, look very closely at the Door of Time. To the very right of the door, there should be a small opening through which you can see. Getting through this opening is the key to getting past the door, but requires a special trick, called the Sidehop Manipulation Trick.
=The Sidehop Manipulation Trick=
- First make sure your sword is put away.
- Hold "Z", and lightly tilt the control stick to the bottom-left, so that the action button reads "attack". If it says "jump", then you're probably pushing it too far.
- Press "A" to roll, then quickly push the control stick all the way diagonally and mash "A".
You should roll backwards at an angle. It's probably a good idea to practice this just a bit out in the open before you go on with the rest of the trick.
=Glitching Through the Door of Time=
- Go to the Temple of Time.
- Go to the opening between the Door of Time and the wall to its left.
Result

OoT: OoT: Actor / Item Cloning glitch
Infinite Heart Pieces
OoT: 97 Heart piece cloning *CUBE*, OoT: Heart Piece clone on console+easy method.

Cutscene Diving
Four Swords
gamewinners.com
This site does not seem at all reliable, but here's a link to a page where a lot of glitches are listed: http://www.gamewinners.com/game_boy_advance/LegendOfZeldaTheFourSwords.htm. I will stress the fact that this site does not seem reliable, and that probably many of the glitches listed are fake.
Wind Waker
Ganon Freeze
Does anyone know how to reproduce this? I know it's real as it's happened to me only once. And this time, I'm 95% sure it's not on the wiki.
Minish Cap
Lake Hylia Map Glitch
Twilight Princess
Infinite Bombs and Arrows Glitch
This glitch is such a common glitch, it's quite surprising that it's not on the wiki yet.
Spirit Tracks
The Moving Chest
The Below was taken directly from ZeldaWiki, and should be converted into Zelda Chaos form.
- Effect: Make the treasure chest that appears when you play the Song of Discovery in Anouki Village move one space to the right.
- Prerequisites: Access to Anouki Village before learning the Song of Discovery.
- How To: Go to Anouki Village and learn the Song of Discovery. Once you do, go into the Chief's house and back out. The chest will have moved one space to the right.
- Notes: It is impossible to move the chest back, unless you reset your game.
Quick Shield Change
The Below was taken directly from ZeldaWiki, and should be converted into Zelda Chaos form.
- Effect: Change your regular shield to the Shield of Antiquity without having to go to Niko's house.
- Prerequisites: Access to the Shield of Antiquity, regular shield, and access to Goron Village and the path leading to the Fire Sanctuary.
- How To: Go to the tunnel to the Fire Sanctuary while in possession of a shield, and go over to the eastern side with the Like Likes inside the pots. Let one suck you up so you lose your shield. Then, go to the Goron Shop outside of the tunnel, and buy a new shield. The shield you just bought will appear to be a regular shield when you buy it, but it will be the Shield of Antiquity when you wear it.
- Notes: This glitch has only been tested while in Goron Village, and if you go to Nikos house, you can change back into the regular shield.
Lava Hopping
The Below was taken directly from ZeldaWiki, and should be converted into Zelda Chaos form.
- Effect: Makes you hop on lava without getting hurt.
- Prerequisites: Access to any part of the Tower of Spirits with lava in it that you can jump in off of a platform, with Zelda as a Phantom.
- How To: Go to any area with lava and Zelda as a Phantom, and let Zelda push you into the lava, but right before you fall in, push down on either the D-pad or the B button, so your map comes out. It may take a few tries, but eventually, you will be in the lava with your map out, jumping up and down.
- Notes: To stop this glitch, you must put your map away.
Hearts Mix-Up
The Below was taken directly from ZeldaWiki, and should be converted into Zelda Chaos form.
- Effect: Makes your hearts messed up when you take a potion.
- Prerequisites: At least 1/2 of a heart left, a red potion, an available heart right next to you.
- How To: Drink your red potion with the little remaining hearts you have left, and right as it starts to fill your hearts up, run and obtain the recovery heart next to you. The hearts will have some filled in, while others not.
- Notes: If you are hurt, your hearts will go back to normal. THIS GLITCH MAY CRASH YOUR GAME! DO AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Floating
The Below was taken directly from ZeldaWiki, and should be converted into Zelda Chaos form.
- Effect: Makes you float.
- Prerequisites: Access to either the Sand Temple, or Snowdrift Station.
- How To:
Sand Temple: Go to the area where you got the hint, "Between one and three... is where... the key...hides..." and make a sand wall like you were going to go into the small area where the note is. Walk very slowly onto the wall that separates you from the note area, and you will be floating over the wall.
Snowdrift Station: Go up the first flight of stairs and then go south. Once you come up to a fence that is on a lower level than you, begin to walk onto it, and it will appear that you are floating.
- Notes: This glitch has no effect on your game and can easily stop once you step down from the wall.
Sub-Glitch links in glitch headers
In most of the Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask pages, the below-game link that looks like "belowgamelink=Majoras Mask:Any Item Epona|belowgamelinktext=[epona]" in the code needs to be changed. The colon ":" between the name of the game and the name of the glitch or category needs to be replaced by a space " ".
Other things that need to be done
- These glitches need to have videos found for them.
- Add explanations for glitches.
- Make proper requirements for glitches. (Lots of them have requirements missing.)
