Instructions

1. Get your sword stolen by Takkuri the bird.
2. Go to the Curiosity Shop. Put the Deku Mask on a C button.
3. Talk to the Curiosity Shop owner and select the sword.
4. Press Yes, and immediately mash the C button the Deku Mask is on.

Result

You'll transform and then get the sword. Now, Deku Link, and no other form of Link (not even Normal Link), will have the sword on B.

Notes

Deku Link can use the sword surprisingly well, all of the attacks work without trouble. However, if you hit anything with recoil (like torches), Deku Link will freeze.

While you can do the glitch as Goron or Zora Link, they cannot use the sword on B and will just continue to do their normal attacks. Trying to throw Zora Link's boomerangs in this state will make the camera screw up a bit.
