Instructions

1. Go to Romani Ranch sometime around 3:00am on the night of the first day.
2. Head over to the barn, and make no attempt to stop the Aliens.
3. Watch carefully as the Aliens disappear into the barn, as the "skirt" of the last one disappears pause the game.
4. The time should now be 3:48 (check it using your notebook). Start unpausing then pausing the game repeatedly, keep checking the time and stop once the time changes to 3:49.
5. Unpause and pause the game twice more.
6. Unpause the game and immediately take out the Ocarina.
7. Play the Song of Double Time and choose yes, to advance to the dawn of the second day.

Result

Once the "time warp" cinema has finished the black circle fade effect should happen. The 'Dawn of the Second Day' screen will now come up, but you should still be able to hear the Alien music. You'll then regain control of Link in Romani Ranch, but time will not be passing, and the Milk Bar music will be playing. Near the front right corner of the barn there is now a small tree, this tree is not normally in the ranch, but can be seen in the version of the ranch shown in the "Press Start" flyby, and the ranch's section of the ending movie. There is also a small carryable crate on top of the ranch house.

If you take out your Ocarina or use a bottle the view will not move in front of you like it normally does. If you play the Song of Double Time and choose yes everything will become darker as though it was night and Link will freeze (you'll have to reset). If you play the Reverse Song of Time a message will come up which says 'But nothing happened', and if you play the Song of Soaring then choose a location to warp to, all the warping noises will play, but the warping cinema will not, and you'll stay at the ranch (Link is now frozen, you'll have to reset).

You can't Z-target anything and the Gossip stone, sign and Epona(who won't come if called) are all gone.

To get everything back to normal simply enter another area.
