Instructions

1. Go to the shop and pick up an expensive item.
2. Take it to the counter and buy it.
3. As soon as the game starts to take your money, press Start + Select + A + B and choose Save & Quit.
4. Reload your game.

Result

You'll have the item and the money that hadn't been deducted when you saved.

Explanation

When you paused the game, the decrementing rupee counter paused as well. When you hit Save & Quit, you saved the current paused rupee value.
