Link's Awakening Select Glitch - Level 9 Sword

Instructions

1. Collect everything else except the LV.2 Sword. This includes Secret Seashells, Heart Containers and Pieces of Hearts.
2. Go to the edge of the world map.
3. Select Glitch over the edge of the map.
4. You should appear in a glitched room with an object in the middle. Pick up the object.
5. The game will reset. Load the save up again.
6. You'll be at Marin and Tarin's house. Equip the object picked up in the glitchy room, and leave.

Results

There is two possible outcomes. About 7/10 of the time, the game will corrupt the save, and force you to delete it. The other 3/10 of the time, however, you can continue as normal. Plus, you can now equip and use the object you picked up as a sword, which I have lovingly dubbed "LV.9 Sword".

Notes

As far as I know, getting the LV.2 Sword erases the LV.9 Sword.
