Requirements

  • Hookshot/Longshot
  • Hover Boots/Iron Boots
  • For some circumstances, Scarecrow's Song on the Ocarina of Time
  • For some circumstances, Bombchus
  • Any hook able object (Ladder, vines, etc.)

Low Doom jump (Easiest to do)

Instructions

  1. As an adult, go to a hook able object.
  2. Equip your Hover/Iron Boots so that you have them on your feet now.
  3. Pull out your Hookshot/Longshot and hold the L-Button to L-Target and aim at the hook able object.
  4. While L-Targeting and aiming at the hook able object, look down a LITTLE BIT from the center of the screen.
  5. Then let go of the analog stick.
  6. As soon as you let go, take off your Hover/Iron Boots.

Results

If done correctly with the right timing, after pressing the button your boots were assigned to, you shouldn't see Link take them off. Instead, he will shoot the hook able object with his Hookshot/Longshot. He will then jump up a little high in the air.

Inverted Doom Jump (Much Harder to do!!)

Instructions

  1. As an adult, go to a hook able object.
  2. Equip your Hover Boots so that you have them on your feet now.
  3. Pull out your Hookshot/Longshot and hold the L-Button to L-Target and aim at the hook able object.
  4. While L-Targeting and aiming at the hook able object, look up a LITTLE BIT from the center of the screen.
  5. Then let go of the analog stick.
  6. As soon as you let go, take off your Hover Boots.

Results

If done correctly with the right timing, after pressing the button your boots were assigned to, you shouldn't see Link take them off. Instead, he will shoot the hook able object with his Hookshot/Longshot. He will then jump up much higher in the air than he would do with the Low Doom Jump method.

Highest Doom Jump (INSANELY HARD!!!!!!)

Instructions

  1. As an adult, go to a hook able object.
  2. Equip your Hover Boots so that you have them on your feet now.
  3. Pull out your Hookshot/Longshot and hold the L-Button to L-Target and aim at the hook able object.
  4. While L-Targeting and aiming at the hook able object, look up A LOT higher from the center of the screen.
  5. Quickly tilt the analog stick downward until you are aiming A LITTLE above the center of the screen. DO NOT LET GO OF THE ANALOG STICK THIS TIME!!
  6. Then IMMEDIATELY take off your Hover Boots.

Results

If done correctly with the right timing, after pressing the button your boots were assigned to, you shouldn't see Link take them off. Instead, he will shoot the hook able object with his Hookshot/Longshot. He will then jump up INSANELY HIGH in the sky this time than you would ever think possible!!! This method of Doom Jumping is by far the MOST efficient one to do because of how high you can get.

Notes

  • You can get a little higher by repeatedly tapping the R-Button to pull out your shield very fast multiple times all the way up until you reach the peak of your jump.
  • You can launch yourself back more by pulling out a Bombchu at the peak of your jump and pressing the R-Button once then immediately releasing the button to drop it because it explodes instantly as soon as you drop it thus knocking you back quite a bit. You can easily do this once, but it is possible to do it multiple times along your descent, though it can be slightly tricky. To repeat this trick more than once, when you pull out the Bombchu, press the R-Button to drop it, but this time, hold your shield out aiming it downward. If done correctly, the blast from the explosion should still knock Link back a bit, but it wouldn't have made him fall backwards since the explosion was shielded and bounced off his shield. After you do this once, do it again and again as many times as you like. You just need to be fast!
  • To go even farther forward, simply L-Target and press the B-Button to pull out your sword and do a midair jump strike at the peak of your jump. Then as you fall, keep the analog stick titled as forward as possible so that you keep falling more and more forward.
  • This glitch can be done on ANY hook able object. You cannot do the Inverted or the Highest Doom Jumps on any crates or on any treasure chests. You can barely do the Low Doom Jump on these such objects, but it doesn't get you that high.
