Ocarina of Time 3DS - Young Master Sword
From ZeldaChaos
Requirements
- Anything needed to Fight Ganon as Young Link
Instructions
- Go to the fight with Ganon as Young Link.
- "Lose the Master Sword".
- Save and quit.
Result
You now will have the Master Sword as Young Link.
Notes
- The Master Swords looks like the Kokiri Sword when Young Link holds it, but the range and damage will still be the same.
- When you have the Master Sword as a child at the beginning of the game, you can get the Kokiri Sword, but if you equip it, the Kokiri Sword will overwrite the Master Sword, removing the glitch's effect. You can equip the shield as normal.
- If you die, the glitch is removed upon retrying.
- If you save, the glitch is removed upon resuming play.
- With the Master Sword as a child, you can actually beat the game, but it's not as glitchy as you would think... You can actually get the Master Sword as you normally would, even though you already have it as a child, but by pulling the Master Sword from its pedestal in the Temple of Time, the Master Sword overwrites the child Master Sword, so therefore, when you return to a child, you would be "swordless child Link". As swordless child Link, you still have the Kokiri Sword in your inventory, but it's unequipped. Also, once you get the Master Sword, the rest of the game goes normal, so the glitch ends then, but it's not easy to get the Master Sword, since you would have to beat the Great Deku Tree mini-dungeon, Dodongo's Cavern, and Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly dungeons without dieing, saving, OR equipping ANY sword. If you die once, you have to start all the way back from the very beginning of the game, no matter how far you may have gotten!
- Child Link with the Master Sword works in the exact same manner as the Armed Link glitch does, well, for the result anyway, not how it's done.
