Instructions

1. As child Link go to an area with a burning torch.
2. Equip both the Deku Stick and Fairy Slingshot to any C-buttons.
3. Pull out a Deku Stick and go to the burning torch, as soon as it touches the flame of the torch and you hear the stick ignite, pull out the Slingshot.

Result

You can now put away the Slingshot and walk around. From now on, taking out a Deku Stick will cause it to burst into flame automatically.

Ending the glitch

While the flame is being "stored" the following actions will cancel it:

• Entering another area (that includes real-time loading areas).
• Swinging your sword.

Notes

• This glitch also works in Majora's Mask using the Hero's Bow or the Hookshot.
