Requirements

  • Deku Sticks
  • A Torch to light the Deku Stick

Instructions

  1. Find a torch, and pull out your Deku Stick.
  2. Slowly walk towards the torch so that the tip of the stick touches the flame.
  3. As soon as the tip touches the flame, press 'A' to put the Deku Stick away.

Result

If you did it correctly, you will now be able to pull out a lit Deku Stick.

Effects

Link will be able to store the lit Deku Stick for a short amount of time. This is useful for when you want to swim to an area where you need to light a torch.

Notes

  • Link needs to be tiptoeing for this glitch to work. He can put the Deku Stick away at any time, as long as he's still walking with the tip touching the flame while he puts it away.
  • If Link goes into another room, the effect of the glitch will end.
  • If you combine this glitch with the Ocarina Items, Link can use it to play an invisible Ocarina.
