Instructions

1. As Child Link, equip the Hylian Shield.
2. Find an enemy, and press and hold R.
3. Z-target the enemy while continuing to hold the R button.
4. Press C-Up.

Result

Link will come out of his defensive position as Navi's description appears, and will hover above the ground as long as it is on screen.
