Ocarina of Time Miscellaneous Glitches - Premature Piece

The player has gotten rid of the Bomb Flower and is about to backflip as per the glitch's instructions.

The Piece of Heart, which, thanks to this glitch, can be obtained prematurely.

Instructions

1. As Child Link, head to Death Mountain Trail. Once there, go to the platform with a Bomb Flower above the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern.
2. Pick the Bomb Flower and throw it somewhere to get it out of the way.
3. Put your back to the fence on the edge of the platform where the Bomb Flower plant is, and backflip over it.

Result

If you had the angle right, you'll land on the "ceiling" of the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern. There is a Heart Piece here that is normally only obtainable as Adult Link, but you can grab it now if you wish.
