Requirements

• Access to the 4th dungeon
• The dungeon map itself

Instructions

1. Obtain the dungeon map.
2. Open it up and scroll the map around.

Result

The game will immediately freeze up and you must now reset.

Notes

• This glitch doesn't seem to work all the time. If it doesn't work for you, go in and out of the dungeon and try it.
• It seems it happens on multiple dungeons via inaccurate emulators (i.e. VBA). Not sure if this happens on the gameboy itself.
• It also appears to not work on the 3DS Virtual Console version of the game.
