Requirements
- Access to Spectacle Island
- Enough money to play the cannon game
Instructions
- Head for Spectacle Island and position the King of Red Lions at a spot far enough away that he's in the cannon game's playfield but close enough for Link to actually swim to the island.
- Start the cannon game.
- Fire the cannon at the King of Red Lions.
Result
Provided you positioned the cannon in the right position and at the right angle, the game will register a hit, even though you didn't hit one of the five barrels that are supposed to be the game's targets. As the King of Red Lions isn't a barrel, he will remain intact and continue registering subsequent hits when struck; you can essentially use him to cheat at the cannon game.
Explaination
It's possible this happens because the game apparently treats anything solid as an object for the cannon game, as opposed to just the barrels. As the King of Red Lions is a solid object, hitting him with one of the cannon's projectiles is recognized by the game as a hit on a solid object and thus scores accordingly.
