This was pretty much the final game, the control style is the same as the final one except that the 'A' and 'B' buttons have switched roles.

Although quite a lot of stuff was still being changed it was mostly minor, the story had been finalized and most things were probably just being tested to make sure they worked properly.

The A and c icons aren't faded, although it seems at this point in development they hadn't programmed it in yet, as no shots have faded icons.
Very different rock texture and a lot of hearts.
It would seem that at this point the guards outside either didn't throw you out or weren't programmed to yet.
In fact, the text on the icon indicates that you'd be able to talk to them.
No trees, the grass texture is different also, plus there is no guard at the end of the top of the gate. Probably at this point the only guards outside were the one at the main gate and the two at the gate in from of the castle, they didn't throw you out.
This is just plain weird, the drawbridge is not only intact as an adult, but it's opening in the middle of the day.
Plus the sky hasn't gone all dark like it does in the final version when you approach the market.
And the bow isn't on the A button, which it should be as Link has the bow, mustn't have been programmed yet, or perhaps you just used it straight from the c-button. Hylian Jean points out that the breast collar (part going around the front of Epona's chest) is a much slimmer design than that in the final version.
Very interesting, a fence blocking access to the small river, the bridge can be seen behind it in the distance.
The fence again, the background "walls" look different too, and to the left of Epona appears to be a hill that goes all the way up to the skyline.
Also at this time a different text is being used for the rupee counter.
The fence can be seen in the distance, and it looks like that entire "wall" off to the right is covered with the grass texture and isn't a hill. The drawbridge is clearly still whole and up.
A mysterious white horse, apparently this was Malon's escaped horse and you had to get it back for her, but, as someone pointed out, the horse has the same model as the one that Zelda rides away on when she's fleeing Castle Town.
This gives a good look at the different layout of Hyrule Field. Especially the grassy hill where there is now a pond.
Here's the horse mentioned earlier, as you can see it has fiery red hair, as apposed to the final version's grey hair.
Impa looks slightly different.
