Instructions

1. Perform the first (Adult Link) part of Bottle Adventure.
2. Go back in time and make sure you have exactly 44 Deku Nuts; then equip a Bottled Fish to C-right and go forward in time. (You can use the amount of something other than Deku Nuts if you know how).
3. You now have the "SOLD OUT" icon on B.

Result

The SOLD OUT item is a placeholder item, similar to "MISSINGNO." in the Pokemon games. However, SOLD OUT actually has a valid use: it is shown when an item is sold out, hence it's name. When equipped to the B button, SOLD OUT acts like the Master Sword.
