Ocarina of Time Glitches 3DS - Unrestricted Camera Glitch
|
|
|
Requirements
- Farore's Wind
Instructions
- Go to any place where you can't move the camera (like the Market or one of its back alleys).
- Use the Restricted Items Glitch to use Farore's Wind.
- Then use the Restricted Items Glitch to use Farore's Wind again to go back to the warp point.
Result
You'll be able to walk around freely with the camera wherever you warped to.
Explanation:
The player uses Farore's Wind anywhere and sets a warp point to somewhere. He/she then warps to that point. While usually there would be entrance data that tells the game, or in this case camera, to do something or have certain properties. Warping is also like its own entrance though, and since the game assumes your only going to warp inside a dungeon, it sets the camera to free mode automatically. e.g. In warping to Castle Town as an adult the player never enters by the regular entrance, therefore they never trigger the piece of script telling the camera to be set in the fountain in the centre of town.
Notes:
Places confirmed that work:
- Temple of Time Path (Child & Adult [Note: only works until the player runs along into the second part of the path])
- Path to Castle Town from Hyrule Field (Child)
- Back Alley (Same as before with the Temple of Time path)
- Castle Town (Adult)
- Dampe's House (Adult)
Places confirmed that do not work:
- Castle Town (Child)
- Happy Mask Shop
- Link's Treehouse (Child)
Many objects such as barrels are only half complete. This is especially evident in the path to castle town as a child. This is probably for the reason that Nintendo and/or Grezzo decided to only create the sides the player would see in order to save memory space.
