Instructions

1. Head to the small area outside of Ganon's Castle.
2. Go to the edge of the pit and follow it towards the entrance to the Great Fairy's Fountain.
3. Stop when you reach the point where you can no longer follow the edge of the pit.
4. Equip the Hover Boots and move to the very edge of the pit.
5. Take a small step towards the edge and immediately take out the Ocarina. If Link does not slide over the edge, repeat this step.

Result

Link'll slide over the edge and end up playing the Ocarina while standing on the lava. As soon as you put the Ocarina away, you'll be sent back to where you entered the area.
