After mashing the ocarina button very quickly, you pull it out without dying.

Required

• Access to Death Mountain Crater
• An ocarina
• A bottle with a fairy

Instructions

1. Enter Death Mountain Crater without your Goron Tunic. This allows the "death" timer to start. If you're a kid, no need to do anything, the timer will start automatically.
2. Next, walk towards any edge with lava under it.
3. Kill some time... More hearts, the longer the timer will last.
4. Prepare to jump when the timer's color turns red.
5. As soon as there is 1-2 seconds left, jump. Once the timer runs out, your hearts should all disappear while in mid-jump.
6. You will die on the lava, you will not reset. You fairy will come out at this point.
7. Once the fairy is almost done with healing you, start mashing the ocarina button.
8. If timed right, you will pull out your ocarina.
9. Once put away, you will reset and lose a heart.

If timed right, you will pull out your ocarina in the lava. Once put away, you will reset and lose a heart. It's fairly easy to do and a cool trick to show your friends. Enjoy!
