Instructions

Start a new game and get a sword.
Go to the Kokiri blocking the exit to Hyrule Field, and cut up the sign next to him so that there isn't any sign left. This way, when you're holding the "Z" trigger, you won't target the sign.
Go to the right of the guy blocking the exit, and stand in the corner between him and the wall.
Go into first person view and face the wall at an angle as shown in the video. Then get out of first person view and bring up your shield.
Do a Low Stab at the wall and a moment later, press "A".
If you end up inside the guy's body, then walk through him towards the exit. If you don't, then Z-target back to the position between the guy and the wall, and repeat steps 5 and 6 until you do.
You should be trapped in a position where the guy won't let you pass back into Kokiri Forest or into the Lost Woods. You're also in infinite sword mode. You can do one of two things:
1. You can either slowly move the guy towards the left side of the entrance until he falls into the void as shown in the video...
2. Or you can roll past the guy into the Lost Woods.

You can now walk off to Hyrule Field without needing to beat the Deku Tree.

If you make the guy fall into the void, you can actually talk to him while he's falling.
