Ocarina of Time Miscellaneous Glitches - Steal the Rod

Walking around with the Fishing Rod cast.

Standing at Lake Hylia with the Fishing Rod still on the B button.

The player has attempted to cast the Fishing Rod (the A button's label reads, "Reel") and the game has crashed as a result.

Instructions

1. Get 20 Rupees and go to the Fishing Pond.
2. Talk to the guy and choose to start fishing.
3. Equip the Hover Boots and walk to the edge of the pond.
4. Run out onto the pond and quickly, before the Hover Boots wear out, press B to cast the line.
5. You will now be able to walk around with the fishing rod cast. Make your way to the door and exit, the man will not stop you as he normally does.

Result

Now you are outside with the Fishing Rod equipped to the B button. Pressing B will freeze Link, because the fishing game actually runs under a separate game engine; when you exit the Fishing Pond, this alternate game engine is removed from memory, which basically means that the game forgets what to do when you try to cast the Fishing Rod.

This glitch is also possible as Child Link, but you have to do it while rolling off the rocks near the small stream, which is much harder.
