Forum Help
Hi Zafum, I've been wondering how to create a new forum topic for Twilight Princess theories. Is there a way to do so? If so, please tell me. Thanks in advance! PS: And thanks for teaching me the 4 "~" thing to sign my name! Glitching Legacy (talk) 04:34, 10 March 2013 (EDT)
- Hey Glitching. If you made a forum account and are logged in, you can easily go to the Twilight Princess Forum, and click the "Newtopic" button. Just write whatever you want to write there about Twilight Princess theories. - Zafum (talk) 06:49, 10 March 2013 (EDT)
Attack of the Clones
Hey Zafum, thanks for the name change! Much better name. I've never been that good at naming, so I just name what it is. I figured the name was rather long, but it's what I had in mind. Thanks! Glitching Legacy (talk) 05:00, 10 March 2013 (EDT)
- Oh, np! You made 3 glitches in the top 7 longest glitch names on the site :P Anyway, naming glitches can be tricky like that. - Zafum (talk) 06:49, 10 March 2013 (EDT)
Twilight Princess Theory Thingy
Alright, thanks! Highly appreciated! I wish I had the GC version mainly for the Gale Long Jump Attack, though, which is impossible on the Wii version. :( Glitching Legacy (talk) 13:50, 11 March 2013 (EDT)
Idea Proposal
Hey, sorry to bother you again, but you are popular with me! XD Anyways, I have an idea for an entirely new section here on ZeldaChaos. I want to create a section on this website that informs people of how the games are programmed. This can teach people how ALL glitches work (even the ones that don't have an "Explanation" section on their glitch page) and how to possibly do other things to "trick" the game's programming to find new glitches and to possibly avoid various annoying crashes and/or softlocks. We can also have definitions for certain words and/or phrases that are in the game that people may not know. For example, the difference between "loading points" and "loading zones". The difference in this example is what causes the popular CD-Stream trick/technique to work in Twilight Princess. We may also have abbreviations for locations, characters, and/or items in the game. For example, in Twilight Princess, the abbreviation for "Faron Woods" is "FW". If you don't know what "FW" is, then you won't be able to do the glitch because you wouldn't know where to go. All together, I think this idea is great and will be helpful. I'm not sure if I can just go out and create this page myself right now or not, but even if I could, I have no idea how to. So please reply to this idea telling me weather or not it will be created and if I can create it, tell me how. Thanks! Glitching Legacy (talk) 14:56, 11 March 2013 (EDT)
- So it would be sort of like a Behind the Scenes of Zelda games? I think that would be really awesome! It might take a bit of planning though. - Zafum (talk) 23:47, 11 March 2013 (EDT)
- A Glossary page would be neat, but only as a reference to the sort of Behind the Scenes pages he's suggesting. - Zafum (talk) 18:22, 12 March 2013 (EDT)
- Yeah, I listed the abbreviations last because I'm still not quit sure on how it would help. After all, I learned all the abbreviations I know today by seeing them, then thinking of what it might be - not by looking it up. And I really like the Behind the Scenes name for this page. I don't know how the teaching of programming would work. It would obviously need to be as short as possible because people don't want to read 50 pages of constant text, but we would also need to "dumb it down" a bit to make it easy to understand for people that have had no prior experience with programming. I would help add to the programming section. I know some programming. I'm self-taught, so it just makes it even harder to learn the stuff. Glitching Legacy (talk) 18:41, 12 March 2013 (EDT)
Idea Proposal 2
I've got another idea for a separate page here. We should have a page that only lists "out of bounds areas". This page should not be added with the glitches list because out of bounds categories are not glitches, they're secret areas, but they can sometimes lead to glitches. So what do you think, Zafum? Glitching Legacy (talk) 22:31, 25 March 2013 (EDT)
- I think it's a neat idea. Wouldn't that sort of information work better as part of the area pages? - Zafum (talk) 09:18, 26 March 2013 (EDT)
- Sure. Glitching Legacy (talk) 22:50, 27 March 2013 (EDT)
How to add Warning Labels?
I want to add a warning label in the CD-Stream glitch/trick in Twilight Princess that warns people that overtime, it can scratch your disc to the point where it's completely unusable, but I don't know how. I saw the warning label in the Crooked Cartridge trick in Ocarina of Time and I want to create one like that, but for Twilight Princess's CD-Streaming. How do I do it? Thanks. Glitching Legacy (talk) 23:54, 28 March 2013 (EDT)
- Sorry to butt in, but it says on this page. Hope that helps. Curly (talk) 08:48, 29 March 2013 (EDT)
- Thanks Curly! Glitching Legacy (talk) 19:25, 29 March 2013 (EDT)
Subglitch Help
Hey Zafum, I need help with adding a new Twilight Princess glitch of mine that I found a while back, but I don't know where to put it in the list of Twilight Princess glitches because it is a subglitch of 2 different glitches. Where should I list it? The name of the glitch will be "King Bulblin Escape". It will be a subglitch of the Forward in Time glitch and the Early Forest Temple (Bomb Method) glitch. Thanks. Glitching Legacy (talk) 21:34, 29 March 2013 (EDT)
- Which glitch do you think is more important to get it to work? - Zafum (talk) 12:30, 1 April 2013 (EDT)
Thanks.
First off, thank you for the warm welcome. Second, thank you for taking the time to read my little biography. While it is unfortunate to hear that you have the "merry, Mary, marry" merger, it doesn't matter over the internet :) Tharthandorf M. Aquanashi (talk) 15:34, 1 April 2013 (EDT)
Big Mistake in Twilight Princess Glitches
Hey Zafum, I did some name changes in a few glitches that I had added to the list of Twilight Princess glitches that I had found to give them better names, but now I ended up deleting those pages! I moved the one page to its new name location, so the one is OK, but the other two I changed are now gone and I can't seem to find them anywhere. I've tried going back a few pages on my browser to try to revisit the pages I lost before the name changes to click on their link and choose to move the page to its new name right after doing so with the first one I changed, but that didn't help. These two lost pages aren't even in my Contributions or my Watchlist and I have everything I change and add set to automatically be added to my Watchlist. I see the successful name change in my Watchlist, but not the others. Is there a way I can fix these lost pages giving them their new names without having to retype them all? The remaining lost pages do not have a link at the moment, so they will be easy to find for you if you need them. They are under Twilight Princess Glitches. And also for future reference, can you also tell me how to properly make name changes in the future, so this mistake doesn't happen again? Thanks! Glitching Legacy (talk) 19:35, 1 April 2013 (EDT)
- You talking about Twilight Princess Glitches - Poe Soul Text Delay and Twilight Princess Glitches - Clip Through Walls? I looked for them with the search bar. It's odd that the Clip Through Walls glitch doesn't show up under recent changes. - Zafum (talk) 16:58, 2 April 2013 (EDT)
