Instructions

1. Perform the Any item on Epona glitch with the Ocarina on a C-Button.
2. Take out the Ocarina.
3. Play the Song of Soaring.
4. Choose to warp anywhere except Ikana canyon.

Result

When you arrive there you'll be on Epona. You can now ride Epona around in this area.

Explanation

Since you performed the Any Item Epona glitch, you can use any item you want, which also includes the Ocarina. This means you can warp away and since the game remembers you were on Epona, she will appear with you whereever you warp.

The reason warping to Ikana Canyon crashes the game appears to be related to the Garos which appear in that area when you wear the Garo's Mask. This explains why defeating Twinmold allows you to warp to Ikana Canyon without crashing, as this makes the Garos disappear.

Notes

• Warping to Ikana canyon crashes the game, unless you've defeated Twinmold in the current cycle.
  
• If you warp to one of the points near a dungeon entrance and have beaten the boss of the dungeon in the current cycle then you will not be on Epona, but once you go to somewhere from there you'll appear on her.
• Once you arrive on Epona in this new area you can perform the any item on Epona glitch using the owl statue here.
