Instructions

1. Go to Termina Field.
2. Call Epona and get on her.
3. Head over to the Northern part of TF.
4. Take out your bow (while on Epona) and shoot the icicle above the entrance to the mountain region.

Result

A short cinema showing the arrow hitting the icicle will play, after which the view will return to Link on Epona. You'll still have your bow out, but you can't see it, press B to draw an arrow and make the bow appear.

Alternatively you can shoot Tingle's balloon while on Epona, after the cinema ends the bow will have disappeared.
