Prerequisites

You need to be Deku Link.

Instructions

1. Go up to the platform which leads to the top of the Clock Tower.
2. Stand with your back to it and face to the left of the passageway to East Clock Town. Hold Z.
3. Backflip, then immediately let go of Z and push the analog stick to the left.

Result

Deku Link should grab the ledge and climb on top of the platform. This allows you to go directly to Majora's Mask at the beginning, skipping the entire Moon's Tear quest.

This is only really useful during the First Cycle.
