Instructions

1. Defeat Goht so the Mountain region thaws out.
2. Go to the area between the Mountain Village and Goron Shrine, where there are all the bridges leading between small islands.
3. As you enter from the Mountain village there will be a Tektite in front of you, get it to chase you and head down the ramp on your right until you get to the water's edge.
4. Put on the Goron mask and do a Goron pound to flip the Tektite onto it's back.
5. Take off the Goron mask and walk into the water until it's up to Link's chest.
6. Take out the hookshot and shoot the Tektite (which should still be on it's back) with it.
7. This will pull the Tektite onto the water in front of you, now either hit it with a Deku Nut or put on the Deku mask and spin attack it to stun it.

Result

Back up a little and wait, shortly the Tektite will float up into the sky and disappear.
