Wind Waker Glitches - Loading Zone Death Glitch
The Loading Zone Death Glitch is a glitch discovered by various people. Many variants exist, some with humorous consequences. There are two types of this glitch: those that involve portals (shafts of light that transport Link out of a cave or dungeon) and those that involve triggerless loading zones. The latter is explained in the result.
- Get Link's Health down to 1/4 of a heart.
- Make Link stand in front of a portal, doorless entryway, or any other area with a triggerless loading zone, meaning that simply having Link within that loading zone automatically triggers the loading of another area.
- Detonate a bomb in front of Link so that he is thrown into the loading zone.
With portals, Link will get up, then will float up. The game loads the new area, then Link will be st back down on his feet. Usually the new area's music will play, then immediately after, Link's death animation and music will play. In the case of triggerless loading zones, Link will not get up; instead, the new area will load, with Link's death animation playing with the new area's music. This can make for some humorous effects.

Wrong Music Death: Have regular area music play instead of the Game Over theme.
Zombie Link: Participate in a cutscene while dead.
