Instructions
- Do the Any item on Epona glitch with the Ocarina on a c-button.
- Take out the Ocarina.
- Put away the Ocarina.
Result
Link will now be standing in midair, and if you move Epona he'll run on the spot. If you press A Link will remount Epona and everything will be back to normal.
While you are in control of just Epona she cannot leave or enter any areas, what this means is that you can go into the part of an area that normally loads the next area, but it won't, you can just trot around in these "loading areas".
The only place where this is of any "use" is the exit from the Gorman Bros' racetrack to Milk Road.
Go to the racetrack then take out and put away the Ocarina, now guide Epona out into the "loading area", once you get around the corner you'll find that the ground ends abruptly, the interesting thing is that Epona can just walk off into space (no other "loading area" in the game lets you do this).
Once you walk off into space Epona will start falling, you can still run around in the air though. If you press 'A' to make Link mount Epona he will, then he'll fly off the top of the screen and Epona off the bottom and you'll start back at the racetrack entrance.
If you just run around as Epona eventually the camera will zoom up into the sky and with a bit of maneuvering you can make it appear right next to the moon.
After running around in space for a few minutes the game will crash, this seems to be unavoidable.
